About

Established in 1955, the City of Beechwood Village is a fifth-class city in the heart of St. Matthews, bounded roughly by Shelbyville Road, Hubbards Lane, the Jefferson County railway and the Watterson Expressway.

Comprised of 513 homes, 84 apartment units and approximately 1,300 residents, many of our neighbors have enjoyed this scenic community for over 40 years.

Our combination of friendly residents, tree-lined streets and great location rank the City of Beechwood Village among the more desirable destinations in eastern Jefferson County.
